NFS - permission denied - very strange problem

Hi

I have strange problem with NFS.

Code:
kuki@karmelek:~$ ls -nd /home/zarzad
drwxrwx--- 2 0 1009 4096 2010-09-21 20:53 /home/zarzad
kuki@karmelek:~$ id
uid=1000(kuki) gid=1000(kuki) grupy=6(disk),22(voice),24(cdrom),27(sudo),44(video),46(plugdev),100(users),108(fuse),111(netdev),113(pulse),114(pulse-access),115(pulse-rt),125(sambashare),1000(kuki),1003(sekretariat),1004(produkcja),1009(zarzad)
kuki@karmelek:~$ cd /home/zarzad
-bash: cd: /home/zarzad: Permission denied
/home dir is via NFS.

Client:
Code:
kuki@karmelek:~$ mount |grep home
192.168.4.1:/srv/storage/NFS/serwery/karmelek/home on /home type nfs (rw,addr=192.168.4.1)
Server:
Code:
root@terminator:~# cat /etc/exports |grep karmelek
/srv/storage/NFS/serwery/karmelek/home 192.168.4.240(rw,sync,no_root_squash,subtree_check)
When I change perms to 777 I can chdir into.

Code:
root@karmelek:~# chmod 777 /home/zarzad
root@karmelek:~# exit
kuki@karmelek:~$ cd /home/zarzad
kuki@karmelek:/home/zarzad$
I have also another dirs in /home like /home/sekretariat which has the same perms (770) and belongs to group 'sekretariat' - I am member also. In this case is all right.

I am confused.
Any solutions?

As kuki, you don't have read, write, or execute(browse) authority in /home/zarzad.
"drwxrwx--- 2 0 1009 4096 2010-09-21 20:53 /home/zarzad"

But I am member of group 'zarzad' so I should chdir.

Here is similar problem:

NFS/RPC has a limitation of only allowing 16 groups to be sent in an RPC header, so only the first 16 groups will be evaluated for permissions.
Anyone knows if NFSv4 have the same limitation?

OK - I checked - NFSv4 has the same limitation.
Probrably the one solution is to use Kerberos with NFS.
