Newbie How-To: Troubleshoot emails not reaching destination (receiving end)
Hello,
I am currently experiencing a major email outage on my shared hosting account at Arvixe (USA), Linux system of unknown distribution, running Apache.
About 30% of all emails that should reach me are not. The senders do not see an error message. The emails appears to have been sent properly. I see this problem across all registered domains and email accounts.
All server-side and user-side spam filters have been turned off, of course. So far, Arvixe support is clueless.
I am a newbie in these matters: can somebody point me to some entry point from where I can try to troubleshoot this issue myself?
