Need help setting up an ubuntu windows image server.

Hello all,
I will go ahead and say that i am not the most fluent in linux so please bare with me. i work at a computer company that does alot of reimaging of harddrives for school systems. we have so many images floating around that its hard to keep up with them. the plan that me and my boss have are to set up either a windows or linux based(perferably linux)server that will push out the images via lan around our office building. its really hard to get the funds to buy software from the powers that be so we are looking for either freeware or some other way for us to do this. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look into Clonezilla, a friend of mine uses it at a large Fortune 500 company. I think it will be more than sufficient for your use.
