need advice for cache_dir squid

hey
how are you folks!
need advice
is't better to use !
cache_dir diskd /cache1 400800 16 256 Q1=72 Q2=64
as one big cache
or split them into :
cache_dir diskd /cache1 204800 16 256 Q1=72 Q2=64

cache_dir diskd /cache2 204800 16 256 Q1=72 Q2=64
which can do load balance and cache always work out!
thanks
