NAT | Port Forwarding

Hi all,

I want to make from my ubuntu server (10.04) a NAT server with proxy / port forwarding and all that stuff.

I was looking at howtoforge, but i found only a version for Red Hat I guess.
http://www.howtoforge.com/nat_iptables

Btw is there software for port forwarding with an interface? Maybe webadmin can do it or not?

Thanks

Hello,

Check out the following links:

I recommended two of those sites to someone else, and I got positive feedback. That should get you in a general direction... As far as your question about port forwarding with an interface, are you talking about a GUI interface? Ubuntu has a iptables front-end within your settings, and you can also do it with webmin - http://doxfer.webmin.com/Webmin/Linu...ort_forwarding

Cheers,

Josh
