nagios not working properly
 

i have installed nagios for monitoring a remote server.In the nagios map it is always showing the remote server and local host entries, but in nagios services it is not showing everytime.If I refreshed the page many times it will then show the services for remote host.And also the status of some services are pending...If anyone have faced the same problem please let me know how to fix it..

Pending means it's polling. Speed of gathering data depends on a lot of things like CPU load of the Nagios host, network conditions and speed of remote host replies. What do the Event Log, Process Info, Performance Info and Scheduling Queue say?
