Mysql Backup

Hi

I need help writing a script which will do weekly basis backup of MySQL database.

The condition is Weekly file will be overwritten every month and monthly file will be created on 1st day of every month and will be retained for 1 year.

Please share some idea about this.

Hello,

Have a look at this script AutoMySQLBackp @ SourceForge, it does what you need and a lot more. Good to get ideas.

Kind regards,

Eric
