mysql 5.5.19 restore database that has views?
 

Hey guys,

Is there a way that I can restore a mysql database that was not backed up with the add drop/database command but has views? Right now when I try to restore it barfs as soon as I hit a view.

I read the documentation and it says that the add/drop database command is necessary but since I don't have it I am checking to see if there is possibly an undocumented alternative?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

got a file.sql of the db, a recent mysqldump?
