my cvs repository is not being recognised yet its there
 

when I try to create a location in Rational it gives me the following error

Error validating location: "Could not connect to pserver:cvs@172.16....:/home/russel/CVSROOT/: I/O exception occured : Connection refused : cvs [pserver aborted]: /home/russel/CVSROOT/: no such repository"


but I have created the repository!!!!!!

Also in connection to the repository I would like to know the server arguments that you put at the cvspserver service configuration(-f --allow- root...)

If that is an exact copy of the error message, it looks like you are missing a slash between russel and CVSROOT.
