First of all in default apache listen on port 80..
1. check whether the apache running or not (#ps ax | grep httpd)
2. check on which port apache listening (#netstat -pnl)
3. check which port defined on apache configuration file
4. What do you mean by server manager and how did you defined this FQDN
5. check the following in server itself http://localhost OR Remote within your network try this http://apache-server-ipaddress

If you have a control panel that runs through apache (which is what it sounds like you're talking about), then you should make sure that your httpd.conf files includes the line

Listen 8080

If your control panel is separate from apache, then check to make sure it's running.
