Not really quite sure what the problem/question is.
Are you saying that the USB stick is on a Windows box, and you're mounting it via Samba? Or that it's on a Linux box, mounted natively, and shared out via Samba? What do you mean by "it was properly working in half an hour"?? Did it take you half an hour to mount it, get it working, or did it only work FOR half an hour?
What version/distro of Linux are you using? What file system is on the USB stick?
