mount missing after reboot


A while ago we had to reboot our samba server and a mount went missing is there anyway i can see what caused it? it is in fstab but the source is missing.

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.

Without knowing anything about your server the only suggestion would be to look at the logs. What distribution/version are you running? What is the source?

mount missing after reboot

After installing cifs-utils or smbclient, load the cifs kernel module or reboot to prevent mount fails.

we decided to just make another mount and be done so far it works
