mod_evasive installation issue

Hi,

I am running CentOS 7 on my server and I want to install mod_evasive on that.

I have tried installing that using yum and it is giving me error like below :

Quote:
Error: Package: mod_evasive-1.10.1-22.el7.x86_64 (epel)
Requires: httpd
Error: Package: mod_evasive-1.10.1-22.el7.x86_64 (epel)
Requires: httpd-mmn = 20120211x8664
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
can any one guide me on this?

Thanks.

Those errors are saying that you don't have Apache (httpd) installed. mod-evasive is an apache module used to block/manage DOS attacks on your web server (see the link pan64 provided).
