Missing nameservers reported by your nameservers
Dear all experts,
I am having a strange problem on my private nameservers registered with godaddy. There are around 10 domains right now which are using my nameservers ns1 & ns2. After the setup of my nameservers, domains. I checked that the domains are resolving good to the mentioned IP addresses which I mentioned in the zone files but when I am checking the domains on http://intodns.com it is showing "Missing nameservers reported by your nameservers" error. I don't know why it is reporting me this error.
For example I checked one of my domains spurstone.com & I got the above mentioned error. Although whois database is giving correct results with nameservers NS1.INDEPENDENTADVISORONLINE.COM & NS2.INDEPENDENTADVISORONLINE.COM.
Please help me ASAP.

The problem is that NS1.INDEPENDENTADVISORONLINE.COM & NS2.INDEPENDENTADVISORONLINE.COM do not resolve. No address is returned for these systems. INDEPENDENTADVISORONLINE.COM does resolve and the problem would appear to be an issue with the zone information for this domain.

Can you tell me the reason why they are not resolving up? If you can see whois database they are showing up, this means they are registered successfully there. I have independentadvisoronline.com domain registered at godaddy & added two hosts there ns1 & ns2 pointing to my nameserver IPs then why they are not resolving up?
Please reply.

Though your two mentioned name servers are not resolvable, I can actually browse both of your domains. Also, intoDNS.com gives fine results for independentadvisoronline.com. There are errors for your other domain spurstone.com. There could be name server configuration that has something to do with.
Code:
Missing nameservers reported by parent FAIL: The following nameservers are listed at your nameservers as nameservers for your domain, but are not listed at the parent nameservers (see RFC2181 5.4.1). You need to make sure that these nameservers are working. If they are not working ok, you may have problems!
ns.spurstone.com
Error Missing nameservers reported by your nameservers ERROR: One or more of the nameservers listed at the parent servers are not listed as NS records at your nameservers. The problem NS records are:
ns1.independentadvisoronline.com
ns2.independentadvisoronline.com
This is listed as an ERROR because there are some cases where nasty problems can occur (if the TTLs vary from the NS records at the root servers and the NS records point to your own domain, for example).
This is what the error I can see. Check your name server configuration.

Chaitanya,
independentadvisoronline.com is showing correct results on intodns.com because this domain is pointing to some other nameservers. I mean it is hosted somewhere else not on the nameservers I have created. It is using the nameservers of that hosting company.
Please suggest.

Those ns1.independentadvisoronline.com and ns2.independentadvisoronline.com (both resolving in the same IP 64.202.189.170) seem to be wrong. I don't get why intoDNS resolves them to different IPs. BTW the name servers on these IPs can resolve your domain correctly.
Anyway check with your registrar and make sure you've the correct name servers for your domain(s) are used
Regards
