Memtest PXE problem

Hello everyone.

I'm trying to provide a memtest image through my PXE server (working well to another kernel images on my Debian Lenny server), but it's not working.

Here's my entry in the PXE default config file:

Code:
LABEL MemTest
        MENU LABEL Mem Test
        kernel boot/memtest.bin
When I try to load the image in the client, the only thing that appear is a "2000" number every 3 seconds.

Any ideas? Maybe I should put something as append in my config file?

Thanks.

What kind of file is memtest.bin?

If it is the image of a floppy drive, check out these instructions:

I've solved the no ending "2000" problem.

According to this tip (http://pxe.dev.aboveaverageurl.com/i..._over_again.21) the problem was the ".bin" extension.

I've just renamed my image name, removing the .bin extension. So, my default config file is like this:
Code:
LABEL MemTest
        MENU LABEL Mem Test
        kernel boot/memtest
(To clarify: memtest is a bootable kernel file, from version 3.5 of memtest86)

But the problem is not solved yet. Now, nothing happens when I select the image.

I was wondering: is there any necessary parameter to put as append?

Actually the problem is solved. It was just the problem with the extension in the file name.

Thanks everybody.
