Mask/Alter Mac Address from Connections coming through Proxy

Alright, so I have a weird question for you guys. I'm trying to come up with a little something that'll let me do the following.

I have a local proxy server running on my computer, but I want to add a twist to it. I have multiple connections going through the proxy, but what I'd like to is that all outgoing connections Mac Address' will be different from the one the connecting systems. Mask or even alter them, if possible.

Yes, I know the idea itself sounds weird, but I'm attempting a few ideas for a project I'm working and I ran in to this problem. Please note that it's impossible for me to change the MAC Address' on the systems connecting through the proxy (they're gaming consoles, to be specific.)

I'm currently running the latest version of Ubuntu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I've really stumped myself here. :P

Check out macchanger. It gives you the ability to change/mask mac addresses on a designated interface as well as a bunch of other options. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but it might help or point you in the right direction

Install MAC Changer with
Code:
sudo apt-get install macchanger
Check out this site for more information:

Hope it helps.

Macchanger is currently what I have installed on my system, unfortunately it's only for the system it's running on, not for connections passing through it.

Thanks a lot for the tip anyway though!

Unless you're on a bridge, the source MAC address on outbound frames should already be different than that of the originating clients (specifically, it should be the MAC address of the proxy server's NIC until it hits the router). What makes you think otherwise?
