[SOLVED] maillog analysis for delay=3

Hi all ,

need a help to know what is mean by delay=3 and dirdel means in the following mail log.

Hi, Veeramani. Delay is the delay between queries for the completion of an address verification request in progress. The default polling delay is 3 seconds. Take a look at the postfix configuration parameters, here (cfr. address_verify_poll_delay). Dirdel is an alias for the exit status 250, which means the mail has been successfully delivered.
