Mail transport not available

Hello people,

I have a system running fedora 7 and postfix.

Qmanager crashed and then the system reported that mail transport was not available when it was trying to send mail.

posfix was reported as stoped so I started it and the system is up again, the email works.

My question is: What happended to the fiew thousand mails the server tried to send dirring the outage ? Is there a way to request for an immediate send ?

I tried postque -p and only 30 something email were there...

I also tried postfix flush without better results..

thanks for you help!
