mail server for local and internet

Hi,
I have lot of confusion due to my office requirement. kindly give me a solution.

we have windows 2008 ADS Server with 40 users in our office and our mail server test.com hosted in google free apps.

all the 40 user having mail id in google free apps. but now we planned delete all mail id from google except 10 mail id (only for managers and Team leader). and configure any open source mail server as a internal mail server. so that all the 40 user should send mail internally, only team leader and mangers can send and receive mail externally as well as internally using a single mail id.

how can i achieve this.

You mention windows 2008 ADS Server, so logically your post should be in "General" forum; however if you are looking for a 'Windows' solution to your question then you may be in the wrong place altogether.

This forum is for the discussion of Linux Software used in a server related context.

You can solve your problem by using something like the Open Source version of Zimbra Collaboration Server. I would suggest, however, that you read the product documentation and the hardware requirements to see if it will match your requirements and you have suitable hardware for it.

You need to mention which distro you are planning to use for the configuration of mail server.
You can use Squirrelmail, roundcube, iredmail

Or you can manually configure a smtp server using sendmail or postfix and imap server using dovecot. For GUI all the employees can use squirrelmail on their browser.
