mail relay checking

Hi ,

I need a command like testing to verify my mail setup . I have a linux box lclient1, in which the send-mail client is configure to use the smtp.mymail.com to relay .

Though i can read the mail headers to confirm the mail generated by any user from lclient1 uses smtp.mymail.com , Is there a way to run a command on the client lclient1 to check it uses to relay the server smtp.mymail.com .

Thanks

No , This command can be useful to send a mail from the client. I want the output to show the client is using a particular mail server for mailing , when you sent a mail with the command like you shown

Code:
mutt -s "test email" test@abc.com < /dev/null
