mail marked as unread even after reading it
Hi all,
I am using Microsoft OutLook Express 6 with an Imap account, recently when i do a send and receive it downloads all my mail 500 of them everytime i do it and i get the error:
Your 'Inbox' folder was not polled for its unread count. Could not get the unread counts for 'Inbox' on '10.0.0.2 (1)' Account: '10.0.0.2 (1)', Server: '10.0.0.2', Protocol: IMAP, Server Response: 'System I/O error', Port: 143, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCCD2.
It also marks the messages as unread even after reading it .
The mail server in my enterprise almost ran out of disk space , so they a put in a new hard disk copied all the mails over and created disk space. The mail server is running on Postfix.
It is doing this only for a few mail accounts, but if i use thunderbird on linux for the same email account it works fine.
I tried deleting the Imap account and adding it again,
So how can i possibly fix things on the mail server......
