LVM Moving from one server to another

Hi,
Just a quick query regarding logical volume management.

I'm currently running Fedora Core 6 and using LVM to manage my numerous filesystems spread over a few hard drives.

What I would like to do if consolidate all of the data onto 2x 500GB driver that are currently in the volume group and move them onto another server.

If I were to do this, would the new machine automatically be able to detect all of the logical volumes on my "array" (two hard drives) without any problems, or may I have issues doing this?

I'm looking to build a new machine and transfer data over, but I don't have enough drives to copy the data over via a network so hoped that I could simply swap the drives over.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Adam
