lvm.conf filter

Hi,

I have lvm.conf file at RHEL as below;

filter = [ "a/sda[1-9]$/","a/emcpower.*/", "r/sd.*/", "r/.*/" ]

Problem with this filter it is taking /dev/sdaa to /dev/sdaz also in acceptance. Which is causing sometimes vg to start ussing non-multipathed disk. Please suggest how We can avoid this situation?

I don't see a statement of what you intend to happen. Without that there is no way to tell what should be in your file.
