Low-power web/ftp with most disks

A small combined webserver and fileserver with focus on power consumption and storage size, what would be a cheap and stable solution to this in terms of hardware ? I'm not interested in NAS solution only servers ..

RE:Low-power web/ftp with most disks

The smallest and cheapest way would be a low power single chip processor with the software embedded like a PIC chip.
There is not enough information in your description to give more than a vague answer. I would recommend giving more specific information on exactly what you are looking for or trying to do.
