looking for Server Performance Tuning resources

Hi,

I am trying to teach myself linux tuning for servers, i am totally new to this so i was hoping for some pointers here. At this point i am really looking for an overview...i guess i'll delve into the details as i read on and pick up stuff.

I am currently reading www.ufsdump.org/papers/uuasc-june-2006.pdf, its an old document from 2006, so i am not really sure how much information in it is still valid.

Hmmm - I would consider that an reasonable introductory overview. Don't take it all too literally, but o.k. for general concepts.
Redhat used to have some good papers, but they now appear to have been walled off unless you have a support subscription.
