[SOLVED] logging in from skolelinux workstation

i already setup a skolelinux 5 main server & a skolelinux workstation

both can ping eachother and resolve each other's name since i already added the workstation in the main server using lwat but i cannot log in from the workstation with the user that i had added on the main server. What should i do to make this work?

Sorry to see this so late. Are you still having problems? Normally this problem is caused by not having the workstation entered in the workstations machine group.

sorry that i forgot to update this thread as solved since i already got it working. The problem lies with my setup which both main server and workstation are vmware player's guest machine.

After adding up the user and workstation, also its group, i remove vmware player's virtual interface dhcpd.conf which is located in /etc/vmware/vmnet1/dhcpd and restart vmware service
