Friends,

Kindly let me know which is the best free linux, where I can use as squid server for about 200 users. Kindly let me know ASAP.

the best linux is my own one. Almost all of them are free and anyone you choose you need to configure. You can freely pick your favourite distro.

let me know clearly. since i am a beginner, i am not aware of linux completely. will ubuntu take the load of 200 users if i implement as squid.

it does not depend on ubuntu but the hardware and probably on the configuration.

ok. then can i install ubuntu on duel core 3 ghz processor with 4 gb ram and configure as squid. or is there any other better linux os, which is free.

ubuntu should work, but remember you need to configure it properly
