Live streaming setup

Has anyone here had any success with a live streaming setup? I've been presented with a requirement to setup a live content streaming server but have struck out trying to find a good opensource solution.

Any ideas?

you really have not provided enough information for anyone to give you any guidance. google might be your friend in this case too.

Apologies for the vague post.

I'm looking for something on the lines of Wowza, with capabilities to capture rtmp streams and then provide means to broadcast this content on webpages by embedding players on web pages
