Linux system profiling

Hello,

Can you pls suggest a Linux system profiling tool that would generate Avg,min,max,95 percentile values of CPU/NETWORK/Memory/Disk for a given period of time. I would like the tool for a week.

It is to migrate the server to the Cloud platform.

sar can get these and many more statistics for you.

You can find many details of how to do it maybe even specific to your distro.

Read the LQ Rules about text-speak, and about not using it. Also, read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature, and do basic research BEFORE posting a question. If this is for your job, you must have SOME idea of how to do it, or at least be able to put "linux systems monitoring tools" into Google.

As mentioned, sar does a good bit. So does nagios, zabbix, mrtg, and host of other tools, depending on what you'd like and how you want to capture it. And you give us NO details, such as how many servers, what version/distro of Linux, whether you want this visually displayed or in a database/text, etc.
