Linux Server with NFS Configured would be able to access files by MAC Clients?
Hi,
Can somebody tell me if I use Linux File server with NFS Configured, Can MAC clients (workstations) access the files on Linux server over the LAN network?

As Mac is based on some BSD, it think it should be able to handle NFS. There are tutorials on the net to configure NFS server on Mac systems. So it definitely seems it can handle NFS.

Configuring NFS server on Linux is quite easy for basic usage. Read man pages for exports file. What you need to edit is /etc/exports file. The basic syntax is
[Code]/path/to/share Client-IPs(options)/Code]
http://nfs.sourceforge.net/nfs-howto/ar01s03.html should help you set up a server.
