Linux Server On Usb

I have a spare 16GB flash drive, I would like a suggestion of some type of Linux server distro that I can install on my flash drive on it.
Things I would like..
1. Samba and other server software Support
2. Be able to use all space
3. GUI (not needed but would like)
4. Universal, go from computer to computer (not needed but would like)
4a. If universal be able to run on older systems
5. If available be able to install straight from installer (like on Lubuntu)
Any help is welcome
PS: I would like to avoid using unetbootin

I am currently using Debian Wheezy installed on a usb as a samba & nfs server and it seems to work well. Just use a standard linux installation dvd and select the usb drive as the target. 16Gb is plenty, just let the installation reformat & use all the available space. Install grub to the MBR of the usb drive & finally select the usb drive as the primary boot device in the bios. The linux install is not tied to a particular pc as with Windows, I have on occasion used one PC with a DVD to install to a hard drive which I then placed in a new pc without any problems. The only issue was that the ethernet will be eth1 unless you remove the relevant line from /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules.

Regards,
Stefan

No GUI. Headless server on a USB 3.0 usb drive. A drive with a fast read/write speed helps.
