Well not much to go on to troubleshoot. Just the obvious to check:
Is the Linux box on?
Is there a firewall on the network blocking smb requests?
Any related errors in the Linux box message logs?
Is the smb.conf configured correctly?
Is the samba service running on the Linux box? Did you restart the service?
Is there a hub/switch on the subnet? Is it on?
Is the network cable on the Linux node OK?
Did you ping the Linux host first and then do nbtstat -a linuxhost?
yes, the Linux Host is ON , and i can access the linux share folders via the samba service.
ping to the linuxt works fine, but the nbtstat gives " Host Not found"
Any Idea ?
Thanks,

According to the Samba website for that error, the most common reason why is that there is a firewall blocking the some/all of the NetBIOS/SMB service ports: 137, 138, 139, and 445. You say your able to connect to the share so their probably open. The only thing I can think of is to reboot the Linux host that has the share and what other Windows/Linux host your trying to run nbtstat from.
