Linux Multipathing


Hi,

I need help on Multipathing. In that how to understand the output of
Code:
multipath -ll
command. Also how to identify how many physical paths are present for a specific lun.

I tried to find on google but could not get help info.

Thank you in advance for help.

multipath -F ----> Flush
multipath -r ----> reload
multipath -ll ----> list LUNs

rpm -qa | grep multipath

New configuration...
cp /usr/share/doc/packages/multipath-tools/multipath.conf.synthetic /etc/multipath.conf

service multipathd reload

chkconfig multipathd on

modprobe dm-multipath

multipath -v2 -d

------

multipath -ll

ls -ltra /dev/mapper ---> list

.....
# fdisk /dev/mapper/mpath2 ---> part
n
p
1
enter
enter
w
partprobe
# kpartx -a /dev/mapper/mpath2 --->

ls -ltra /dev/mapper
