Linux as spam/virus filter

Hi All,

I'm needing to setup a linux server to handle spam and virus filtering for mail traffic on our ISP network. I would like to have this server listen for mail passing through it (server configured as a transparent bridge) and check it for spam and viruses.

We're having some issues with clients connected PC's being infected with viruses and sending spam emails without their knowledge.

The mail would be 'mail in transit' and not mail forward from any specific server.

What would be the best solution for this?

Thanks
Anubis.

Look into clamAV, Razor spamassassin and amavisd-new

have a look at Linux Online Docs for the details..
