Linux and streaming video.

Hi everyone. I need a quick hack that hopefully someone can help me with.

Due to unfortunate circumstances here is what I need to accomplish.

I have a Windows 7 machine that has a USB webcam attached. It is running the Microsoft Windows Expression Encoder 4.0 so that I can stream the webcam video. This computer cannot change.

I need to capture the video streaming from the PC that is streaming the video with Windows Expression Encoder with my Red Hat server and make it available for broadcast to a couple hundred client computers.

It looked like ffmpeg would work but it appears that ffmepg needs a linux /dev as input.

Is there a workaround or something quick I can do to accomplish this task?

Thanks
