Welcome to LQ & the Linux "club".

I've been using Linux/KDE/Konq. as my only desktop since May 2005. I add Opera for password management on multi-username sites & its built-in zooming. I keep FF around only because I am too lazy to remove it & besides sometimes I want a "virgin" browser to verify that some site is indeed badly designed. I.E. I am w/ you on using Konqueror as my primary browser.

It might (or might not) be helpful to know which ver. of KDE/Konq. you are using (Help | About Konqueror).

Did you find your Konqueror AdBlocK Filters? They're under "Settings | Configure Konqueror".

I use a SmoothWall Express perimeter firewall to do my ad blocking, so I am not familiar w/ the details of Konqueror AdBlocK Filters, but I can certainly try to answer any specific questions you have.

So, how are you doing w/ Konqueror & AdBlocK?
