Smile Kick start file installation


Hi All,

I want to automate the deployment of centos. While surfing on Google found there is an option of Kick start file installation. How I can create a kick start file specifying below details.
• IP address
• Specific RPMS to be installed
• Specific RPMS to be deleted
Please correct me if am wrong.

The documentation for kickstart covers all the items that you are asking. I would look at the kickstart docs and go from there.

There is a ton of documentation out there, a good example kickstart file you can look at the one Anaconda generates on an existing installation. Look at /root/anaconda-ks.cfg or install system-config-kickstart (for GUI) to build one from scratch.
