kernal error


Hi all,

I am facing below allert, I have Cent OS 5.5.
kernel: set_rtc_mmss: can't update from 1 to 59

If you tried to look this up, you'd have found it. The time is probably wrong between your system and the CMOS hardware clock. Stop NTP if it's running, get your clock synched with the public NTP servers, then run the hwclock command to pass the system time to the hardware clock. Read the man pages on ntpdate, and hwclock.
