JBoss Application Server


Hai friends


I have one doubt.i have one application server running jboss and database mysql. this application server is our company website.
we plan to change our company website some modification like Revamp.
if it is possible i will configure another website on my same application server website system like same as jboss and mysql.
if it is possible to run two website using jboss and backend mysql in one server. or any other way.

pls tel me some solutions.

i am using Jboss version -5

and mysqld version -5

Yes, that shouldn't be any problem.

I haven't done it in practice, so couldn't explain it. Just google "jboss multiple websites".

No problem at all.
Bear in mind, though, that JBoss is not a webserver, it's a J2EE application server. It would be better to proxy the http through Apache or some other web server.
TBH, unless your site requires J2EE heavy lifting, you might be better off looking at Tomcat. It does much the same thing, but without all the EJB stuff that can be hard work.
