Jboss 5.0.1, web-console not visible

OS is CentOS 5 JRE is 1.6.0_13 The Firefox that comes with CentOS complains about installing a plugin even after /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_13/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so is copied to /usr/lib/firefox-1.5.0.9/plugins/ I then unzipped firefox 3.0.9 and copied the JRE plugin to it's plugins directory, but the left frame of web-console is empty.
