Issues with kexec

I have a Debian server with kdump installed but when i try to start kdump, i get the following:

Memory for crashkernel is not reserved
Please reserve memory by passing "crashkernel=X@Y" parameter to the kernel
Stopping kdump:[FAILED]
Starting kdump:[FAILED]

Here is a uname on my server:

Linux 2.6.18-92.el5 #1 SMP Sat Jan 31 01:36:06 PST 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
