iscsi strange behavior
Hi,
Im using Centos 5.2 iscsi-initiator utils, but having this weird behavior, though its working fine, just want to ask if anybody had encountered same problems, or is this still a bug on 5.2?
[root@master iscsi]# service iscsi start
iscsid dead but pid file exists
Turning off network shutdown. Starting iSCSI daemon: [ OK ]
[ OK ]
Setting up iSCSI targets: Logging in to [iface: default, target: iqn.2008-11.com.mydomain:shared1.disk01, portal: 192.168.1.2,3260]
Logging in to [iface: default, target: iqn.2008-11.com.mydomain:shared1.disk02, portal: 192.168.1.2,3260]
Login to [iface: default, target: iqn.2008-11.com.mydomain:shared1.disk01, portal: 192.168.1.2,3260]: successful
Login to [iface: default, target: iqn.2008-11.com.mydomain:shared1.disk02, portal: 192.168.1.2,3260]: successful
[ OK ]
I noticed that there are two processes running? Is this normal?
[root@master iscsi]# service iscsi status
iscsid (pid 5113 5112) is running...
[root@master iscsi]# ps -ef | grep iscsi
root 5408 1 0 14:54 ? 00:00:00 iscsid
root 5409 1 0 14:54 ? 00:00:00 iscsid
root 5531 3075 0 14:54 pts/1 00:00:00 grep iscsi
Then after stopping iscsi, here's the result.
[root@procyon iscsi]# service iscsi stop
Logging out of session [sid: 17, target: iqn.2008-11.com.mydomain:shared1.disk01, portal: 192.168.1.2,3260]

[root@master iscsi]# service iscsi status
iscsid dead but pid file exists
Any ideas please?
Thanks.
