Is there a media server controllable over web. Solved thanks

Hello
What I really want is a pc feeding my hdmi tv that is controlled by my laptop. I have the pc running puppy tahr605 feeding the tv working well but the tv is too far away to read, say youtube, so I need the tv pc controlled by my laptop which I can see and read.
I think thats clear but it often isn't.
I have an audio server running daphile feeding my audio system but with a web interface so I run it from laptop. I need similar to feed the tv.
An ideas please.
Thanks

You can try MythTV, but last time I tried it, it was not the easiest application to configure. It's closest application to your requirements I can think of.

Thanks jsbjsb001
That looks a bit to complicated for me but I will give it a try.
The tv server at the moment does all I need except I have to go close to it to go to a particular web site or read youtube search. Is there any way I can take over control of the tv server pc remotely from my seat and the laptop.

Thanks for the update and solution.

Might look at Plex also. It is not like teamviewer remote as such but a way to access your media.
