Is the a good lightweight distro for AoE?

I'm building a mini-SAN, just two mirrored drives in mini-itx Atom system (check this out http://lian-li.com/v2/tw/product/upl...7/pc-q7-22.jpg)
It's basically a Linux eccentric's backup drive. I will probably just put Debian on it, but is there a special lightweight distro that support AoE? I see a few that have iscsi, I haven't found any yet with Aoe built-in.

Try installing a basic system on the board and then building it from there. You have Gentoo, Slackware, Debian to name the basics. There is also the choice of a BSD system.
