Integrate Webinject In Nagios


Hi Friends,

I am using Nagios to monitor our Server , currently using Nagios i can able to monitor Server load, sNumber of users logged in, and total process and services details. now i need to monitor the Webapplications (URL) , I googled regarding this and i found using Webinject we can able to monitor N number of URLs , using Webinject how to monitor URL and how it works?

I have always used check_http plugins on a test page
However you can find more on

Hi Fortez,

Is that any way to monitor using check_http itself to monitor all the web application(URL).

you have to use a check_http "call" for every url so in nagios web page you will have as entries as url you want to check

dude actually i am totally new to this concept , do u have any idea how to using the check_http to monitor URL do u have any sample doc . please guide me!!!

first, you ha have to install nagios plugins

A good guide can be official page

as howto

However you have to define in nagios config file a command which use check_http plugin
