[SOLVED] installing mondoarchive on lenny

To install mondo, I need mindi
mindi says it needs mindi-busybox

Trying to install mindi-busybox on debian 5.0
did weget gunzipped and tar
cd / to the mindi-busybox-1.7.3
now what?
tried ./setup.sh
-bash: ./setup.sh: No such file or directory
tried ./configure
-bash: ./configure: No such file or directory
tried /configure; make; make install
-bash: ./configure: No such file or directory
-bash: make: command not found
-bash: make: command not found

OK now what?

OK this is for a base install or desktop

How to install mondo
wget http://mondorescue.muskokamug.org/de...7.3-1_i386.deb
dpkg -i mindi-busybox_1.7.3-1_i386.deb
wget http://mondorescue.muskokamug.org/de...2.0.5_i386.deb
dpkg -i mindi_2.0.5_i386.deb
###############
will not install because binutils is missing (and others)
apt-get install binutils
will not install
apt-get install -f
now mindi will install
wget http://mondorescue.muskokamug.org/de...2.2.9_i386.deb
dpkg -i mondo_2.2.9_i386.deb
####################
will not install because of missing packages
apt-get install buffer
will not install
apt-get install -f
mondo installed
test by running mondoarchive
