I don't know the exact answer, but it does appear that this server supports RedHat, so perhaps try CentOS. It could, of course, be a hardware issue.

Also, try booting a rescue CD (I don't recall if the Fedora DVD allows a rescue boot, but I would imagine it does), and see if you can see the drives with fdisk, parted, or any other utility.

The problem resides in that the installation software, in this case Fedora, can't 'see' any hard drive to install on.

Did you create a raid with your 2 drives in the raid bios ? (Assuming it's hardware raid of course)

Does the manufacturer (Fujitsu) express any compatibility with Fedora ?

Maybe you'll just have to load a module at installation time if indeed there is one available, just not part of the installation media.

Hope this helps,

I got the same error message, not sure if we have the same cause; Anyway, I resolved the issue by connecting the hard drive to a SATA port 0.
Try playing with your connection, and / or BIOS. You may want to set the mode to ACHI or legacy. Hope this help.

Hi There,
I got the same error. I resolved that by connecting the sata drive to port 0. Originally the drive was connected to the one of the sata/pata port. try connecting the drive to a different sata port and set the BIOS to ACHI or native.
