In NFS server. I want to share directory but i dont want to share subdirectories.


Hi Buddy,

I have a problem related to NFS server. I have a directory /data and a subdirectory /new. I want to share /data directory but i dont want to share the subdirectory /new. So can I do it. plz forward me the answer as early as possible.

Umm, I don't think you can specify something like that in the exports file. You should either change your directory structure or modify the permissions/groups on the subdirectories on the remote server.
