Am working hard to find a stepping in linux of which am at discovering and experimental stage.
Recently av been trying to setup a mail server using postfix and though there are still a few hitches here and there I would like to know the best IMAP/POP3 server to implement between Cyrus,Courier,UW and Dovecot.Any assistance on howto with any best option will be highly appreciated.
Am currently running on a Fedore Core 5 System.
Distribution: OpenBSD 4.6, OS X 10.6.2, CentOS 4 & 5

I used Dovecot and found the configuration file so well documented that I didn't need to read anything else. Of course, that was on OpenBSD so some of the documentation may have been added by the Ports maintainer.
i'll make it a triple then... i have been using courier-imap for a while, and on rebuilding a server tried dovecot instead, so much simpler and never found any annoying niggles that i did with some MUA's like thunderbird that i did have with courier.
