First off, extended lifecycle support for RHEL 3.0 ended in 2014. The latest version is RHEL7.2. However, and I don't know whether you aware, you have to pay for maintenance and support of RHEL. You can download the original iso for free but will not receive any updates unless you pay for support.
Centos is a clone of RHEL and IS free. You can download 7.2 here:

I know nothing about the proliant server. From a quick search it seems to be quite old so you may need to play around with a few live versions of Centos first. 6.7 and 5.11 are compatible with RHEL6 & 5 and still have a decent support period.
